    Fine Gardening

We offer fine gardening services for both residential and commercial properties. We specialize in perennial and shrub care, edible gardens, native plants, and coastal zones. All work preformed organically and by hand or using electric tools.

  • A hand-drawn garden plan with labeled plants including various Geranium 'Rozanne', Monarda 'Berry Taffy', Rudbeckia fulgida, Liatris spicata, Eryngium aquaticum, Echinacea purpurea, Baptisia australis, and a central labeled 'spruce' tree.

    Design

Whether you're reimagining a single bed or planning a complete property transformation, we create designs that work with your site's unique conditions. Our plans emphasize native plants, pollinator support, and seasonal interest that evolves beautifully year after year.

Who we are

I'm Brie O'Connor, and I've been working with plants and landscapes for over 20 years. I studied landscape architecture at the University of Rhode Island, and have had the chance to work and learn from so many amazing horticulturalists in the beginning of my career—learning how plants behave, what thrives in our coastal climate, and how to create gardens that support the wildlife we share this place with.

I approach every project as a collaboration between art and ecology. My goal is to design gardens that are as functional for pollinators and native species as they are beautiful for the people who live with them. I love working with unusual plant combinations and unexpected color palettes—finding what makes each property special and bringing that to life.
